GCSE & iGCSE Classes

GCSE & iGCSE English

Our GCSE English Language and Literature classes teach students how to analyse various texts by identifying language and structure techniques, discussing intended audience choices, and commenting on a reader’s perspective.

We run rolling, weekly classes and students are welcome to join us at any point in the year.

GCSE English Language (suitable for AQA, EdExcel, OCR and Cambridge iGCSE)

  • Text types include: information texts, articles, leaflets, reports, reviews, speeches, letters, stories and poetry

  • Throughout the year, we focus on reading and analysing texts according to all elements of language and structure

  • Students will enjoy writing transactional and imaginative texts for a range of different audiences and purposes

GCSE English Literature (suitable for AQA, EdExcel and OCR)

  • We aim to introduce students to a variety of texts such as Romeo & Juliet, Animal Farm and other texts across GCSE exam boards

  • As our groups are small (up to 6), we can take requests to cover texts, during your time in our lessons

  • Students will study the plot, characters, themes and contextual influences in a range of texts, poetry and Shakespearean plays

  • Probability & Statistics - scatter graphs, histograms, cumulative frequency, box plots, frequency tables, averages and probability

GCSE & iGCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics

Our GCSE Science classes teach topics that are suitable for most GCSE and iGCSE examination boards and we teach topics for both foundation and higher papers. Our science classes also cover additional topics for those students who are taking single award sciences.

In our classes we cover all topics, exploring examination questions and discussing required practical experiments, often watching video clips.

We run rolling, weekly classes and students are welcome to join us at any point in the year.
