One-to-one Tuition

One-to-one online tuition is ideal for students who need individual attention to work towards their goals and comes with a range of benefits:

  • Choose to arrange your one-to-one lesson that is most convenient for you and your child

  • An initial assessment will be sent over to you before you begin so that we can address areas to work on in your child’s first lesson

  • A personalised learning plan will be created by your teacher to help plan and deliver your lessons

  • Choose your lesson duration, frequency and time slot

  • Receive individual support for topics and parts of the curriculum that is most suited to your child

  • All of our one-to-one lessons are paid after each lesson without a monthly or termly commitment to offer full flexibility

  • A lesson report will be sent to you after each session with topics covered, outcomes and homework for the next booked lesson

  • Once connected with one of our teachers, you can arrange the times for your lessons directly through your designated teacher and still get support, if needed, from our director or office at any time

  • One-to-one tuition is from £50 per hour, depending on subject, teacher and level

Initial Assessments

All students who have 1:1 lessons with us will have the option to take an initial assessment, which is included within the 1:1 lesson fee - there is no up-front cost for this service. This assessment will then be marked and sent back to you, with valuable feedback, that is shared with both you and your designated tutor.

Initial assessments may involve:

  • A creative writing assessment with a title or image given as stimulus

  • A comprehension, full past paper or one of our papers written in-house

Assessments may be sent over by email or, for longer GCSE papers, added to a secure BitPaper link whereby students can log in and complete their work online.

Full feedback will be given in the form of report or email sent over by our director. We always include annotations on creative writing pieces and your tutor will go through any errors during your first lesson.

From this initial assessment, your child’s first few lessons are planned and will continue to develop through regular assessment by your tutor.
