A little extra help at home
The resources below are optional and are there to support topics covered during our Tuesday sessions. Children are not expected to complete everything listed. They can be particularly useful if your child would like another explanation of a concept or some extra practice.

From Week 4, our sessions alternate between two areas of focus each week:

Useful Guides and Websites relating to Exam Boards and Schools
Understanding Quest Admissions
If your child is applying to an independent school that uses Quest Admissions, this guide explains what the assessment involves, which subjects may be tested and how the different parts of the exam work. It also gives practical advice on helping children prepare confidently at home.
GL Board - Sample Assessment Papers
GL Assessment provides around 10 hours of free familiarisation materials to help children get used to the layout, style and question types they may encounter in 11+ tests. The free materials include Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths, with downloadable PDFs that can be printed and used at home. GL notes that these are designed to build familiarity with test styles rather than replicate the exact timing or format of every local 11+ exam.
Tutortastic 11+ Helpsheets
A large collection of free 11+ worksheets covering Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal & Spatial Reasoning, English and Maths. The resources are organised by question type and topic, making it easy to find extra practice for a specific skill your child is working on. There are also English mini-mock papers for additional practice.
Tiffin’s own Sample Papers
Tiffin School provides official illustrative questions for its Year 7 entrance tests in English and Maths, covering both Stage One and Stage Two. These are useful for helping children and parents understand the style, format and level of difficulty they may encounter. Tiffin notes that the papers change each year and that these are examples rather than past papers. Scroll right down to the bottom of the page, the papers are in a drop-down menu
Atom Learning GDPR Permissions
As part of the Bousfield 11+ programme, we will be using Atom Learning to support assessment, targeted practice and progress monitoring.
Bousfield Primary School will set up pupils on its Atom School account using the information required from the school’s system. Authorised tutors delivering the programme will also have access to relevant pupil profiles, assessment results and progress information on Atom Learning so that we can monitor progress and plan appropriate support.
Any information accessed through Atom Learning will only be used for the purposes of delivering and supporting the programme.
Please confirm that you are happy for your child to be set up on Atom Learning and for relevant pupil and assessment information to be accessible to Bousfield Primary School, Atom Learning and authorised Tutortastic staff for this purpose.
